The design of a Core network and server environment in Azure. This design extends the UNCG datacenter and network environments to the Azure cloud.
The Azure Core environment design presentation will include the principles that we designed the environment around. It will also contain the actual network and server design structure and the security protections around that structure.
The other features of the environment include the principles of microsegementation, extending Windows Domain Controllers into that environment and the structure that makes all of it work.
ITSM integration, service documentation and application resiliency will also be discussed.
The target audiences will operations staff, systems administrations, security personnel and any other interested party.
